Update: the company did reach out to me to acknowledge what had happened and took action to fix what went wrong. So behind all of this, they are still trying to be the company I have always known to be good to work with. Original review: We have always used Lamars for so many appliances. We called out someone to look at our refrigerator and also pre-asked if they serviced LG. They should’ve been upfront about what part of LG they did not service. The super young kid came basically talked into his phone, sat on the floor and then told us that our fridge wasn’t repairable, that it was probably the compressor or the Freon and they couldn’t do either. $70 later, nothing is any better and we are out more money. This is probably the worst experience I’ve had with Lamars. I don’t know what happened to their other technicians. They were older and super helpful and very knowledgeable.

Lamar's is my go-to for appliance service. I've used them for a washing machine, refrigerator and oven. Prompt, clean-cut, polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and priced fairly. What more do you need in an appliance repair company? Started using them on recommendation from a relative and couldn't be happier with their service. Colby was a great representative of the company and very competent. Will absolutely use again!

I appreciate this company’s honesty. My dryer wasn’t drying well. The lady who took my call told me that it was likely an issue with the vent being clogged. She walked me through a test to perform that proved that was the case. Since Lamar’s doesn’t perform vent cleaning, she saved me the cost of their technician coming out just to have him tell me that I needed to hire someone else to clean the vent. I appreciate her foresight and saving me the money.

Heating wasn't working on my dyrer. I tried to fix it myself, but couldn't find the problem (and couldn't find any instructions online to fix it online). The technician literally fixed it in 2 minutes (reset the themal switch) and got it all put back together. I'd definitely use them again.

They are quick to respond, we had a very knowledgeable technician. He gave us options and was efficient. They will be our first call with appliance issues. Thank you!

Lamar's Appliance Repair was fantastic! They came out quickly, were fast and efficient, and had my dryer up and running in no time. The whole process was smooth and professional. Highly recommend them--excellent job!

I have a 2 year old GE fridge that was not cooling. I called Lamar’s appliance and they came out quickly to work on my fridge. It was not an easy fix but they kept trying. Eventually they turned me over to deal with GE directly. Their technician did the same things as Daniel with Lamar’s appliance and could not fix it either. Turns out there is a broken wire in the casing that cannot be reached. Daniel with Lamar’s did not charge me a penny. Not even a call charge. I am sure that if my fridge was fixable they would have gotten it done and charged a reasonable price. I will call Lamar’s the next time I have an appliance that needs to be repaired. Colby came out on a washer repair and was able to fix the problem ( belt came off) and was out of there within 15 minutes. It’s nice to see honest people and not repair or replace unnecessary items when it was just a simple repair Thank you
